Welcome to Verveine. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to the following terms. Please read them before purchasing.

Who we are

Verveine is a sole trader business owned and operated by Tova Bergman, based in Lewisham, London. You can contact us at hello@verveineherbal.co.uk.

Our products

All Verveine teas are handmade in small batches using dried botanical ingredients. Because we work in small quantities, there may be occasional natural variation in colour, aroma, and appearance between batches. This is a feature of artisan production rather than a defect.

Our products are sold as food for consumption as herbal infusions. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication, please consult a healthcare professional before consuming herbal teas.

Allergens

We take allergen safety seriously. Full ingredient information and allergen declarations are printed on every product. Despite our best efforts to prevent cross-contamination, our teas are produced in a home kitchen environment where other foods are also prepared. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.

Ordering

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the details you provide are accurate and complete. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order at our discretion, for example if a product is out of stock or if we identify an error in pricing or product description.

You will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation is an acknowledgement of your order, not a formal acceptance. Our acceptance occurs when your order is dispatched.

Pricing

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any applicable VAT. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout and are not included in product prices. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 business days of payment. Delivery timescales are estimates and we cannot guarantee delivery dates, as these depend on Royal Mail and courier services outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order does not arrive within a reasonable time, please contact us and we will investigate.

We currently ship within the UK and to selected international destinations. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges applicable in their country; these are not included in our prices and are outside our control.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. For details of our returns and refunds policy, please see our Returns page.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, illustrations, logo, and artwork — is the original work of Verveine Herbal and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, copy, or use any of our content without our prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verveine Herbal's liability for any claim arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Privacy

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
